Privacy Policy
Last updated 19 August 2026. RentOda is currently a prototype with sample listings and demo data.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: name, email, phone number and city.
- Listing details hosts publish: room photos, approximate area, price and availability.
- Approximate location, only when you tap “Use my current location”. We never store or publish exact residential coordinates.
- Device storage: your saved rooms and demo bookings are currently kept on your own device.
What we do not display
- Aadhaar numbers, government ID numbers, identity documents or any KYC document.
- Bank account or payout details.
- Exact home addresses of hosts. Full address is shared only after a booking is confirmed.
Verification status
- Identity, property and payout verification are not connected yet — they are marked “Coming soon” across the product.
- When verification goes live, only a status (verified or pending) will ever be shown publicly.
Data deletion
- Email rentodasupport@gmail.com from your registered address with the subject “Delete my data” and we will remove your account information.
- You can clear saved rooms and demo bookings at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser.
